Strepsils Plus Lozenges have been formulated to give effective and rapid relief from painful and inflamed sore throats. Their dual action formula contains a local anaesthetic to numb the throat while the two antibacterial agents help kill the bacteria* which can cause sore throats and mouth infections.
Ingredients
Lognocaine hydrochloride 10mg,
Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg,
Amylmetacresol 600ug.
Each lozenge contains Sucrose, Glucose and Saccharin.
Dosing guide
Strepsils Lozenges are suitable for adults and children over 6 years. Not suitable for children 6 years and under.
Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 hours as required.
No more than 8 lozenges to be sucked in any 24 hour period.
If symptoms persist for more than two days accompanied by fever, headache or nausea consult your doctor.
Warnings

The efficacy of an antibacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established. Each lozenge contains sodium saccharin and is free from artificial colours.
